My dear friend gave me this idea & I feel like a shit-head for doing this, but I really think this is the only way I’m going to get what I want & more importantly, what I need. You may not see it as a necessity but I do. I need to raise at least around $120 for Vibrams Five Fingers. If you do not know what those are, I linked to them right there so please take a look & I’d really appreciate any support I can get. I have a little under 600 followers so if every one donated less than $0.50, I could get them & I wouldn’t be in constant pain.

Backstory: I was in Marching Band for 4 years. This has left me with basically what I’d refer to as hairline fractures along the bottoms of my feet. The only time I am not in pain standing or walking is when I’m barefoot. Running is basically out of the question. It constantly feels like someone is taking all the muscles in my feet & pinching them as hard as they can, while at the same time punching me in the bone. It’s basically horrible, especially when at work I’m on my feet anywhere from 6 to 9 hours a day if not more. On top of this, I want to start working towards being healthier & more fit through yoga & such. I tried this for about a week & by the third day, I could barely stand. Not because my body was sore but because the pain in my feet was unbearable.

Everything I’ve read has pointed me in the direction of these shoes, but my husband doesn’t see it as a justifiable expense, which I understand because they are so expensive but the amount of pain I feel would be worth spending a little money to alleviate it. We don’t have medical insurance, so these are really my only option. Inserts don’t help. Good tennis shoes don’t help. Barefoot is the only way I can be.

So if any of you can possibly spare anything, a dollar, fifty cents, I don’t care what it is, I just need your help & I fucking hate asking for help but I need it & I hope some of Tumblr has it in their hearts to maybe help me out here.
